Drag and Drop: Default Action
If you are a Windows’ “Power User”, one thing you may have noticed, is the default action for copying files between drives. By default, if you “Drag and Drop” files between folders on the same drive, Windows will simply move them. However, if you perform the same action between folders on different drives, Windows will create a copy of the selected files. This becomes crucial if you have a Desktop computer with multiple hard drives for storing files.
